BodyID respects your privacy and strives to keep it protected as described in herein. The term “user” will be used throughout this document to describe a person who has agreed to our policies by using our services. The term “specified third party” will be be used throughout this document to describe a company who has contracted with BodyID for the purpose of obtaining user approved personal data. Users of this service will approve “specified third parties” at their own discretion.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information from users through our services. The purpose of this collection is to provide a service to benefit our users. We may collect personal data to be stored, processed, or analyzed for use in calculating body measurement data and other reasons outlined in this document.
Examples of information we collect would be email addresses, images of users, user heights, user weights, user preferences, and user credit card or purchase information. Examples also include information regarding a user’s device such as hardware model, gyroscope, or accelerometer data.
By using this service, users agree to not provide information of offensive or lewd context including pornographic material. We reserve the right to refuse service to any user who violates this policy.
Specified third parties may need to provide login information such as email addresses, passwords, and usernames to access services such as an API. Common login or access data may be logged when communicating with our servers.
Third party logins and account data will only be stored as long as a specified third party service contract is active.
Use of Information
We do not share user information with unspecified third parties except as described in this document. We will use the term “average” to describe users data grouped with other users of our services for the purpose of creating a calculated average. The term “average” could also be used to describe aggregate data.
We have relationships with specified third party partners for the benefit of both the users and BodyID. Users can agree at their discretion to share specific individual body measurement information with our specified partners. This is not required of our service as the third parties are offered for the benefit to the users of our services.
User specified third party services may have access to the following data during the contract period:
- User height
- User weight
- User gender
- User body measurements
No method of data transmission over the internet is %100 secure, therefore we cannot guarantee the absolute security of a user’s personal information.
The machine learning models and algorithms created by BodyID will continue to develop and improve over time. As a contribution to these improvements, users of this service who agree to share data for machine learning may or may not be subject to an aggregate collection of de-identificaion data. This data could include photographs or personal information to be used in the development of machine learning models, and including but not limited to neural networks and algorithms. The development of these technologies benefit our users and specified third parties by improving the services we offer.
Children’s Privacy Protection
Our app is not intended to be used for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data or information from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide any information through our services.
All users of our service must be the age of 18 years or older. We ask that parents or guardians please help us protect the privacy of your children by following our policies.
California law permits California residents who are users of our Services to request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for the third parties direct marketing purposes. This document serves as both a “user” terms and conditions as well as a “specified third party” terms and conditions. These terms have been combined for solidarity among parties.
By accepting these terms and policies you represent that the payments made by the use of credit cards or other payment services are made within your legal rights.
Specified Third Party Terms
Access and Usage
1.0 API credentials: API tokens, usernames, passwords, email addresses, and API keys are intended solely for the use of the specified third party. You agree to make a reasonable effort to keep these credentials safe.
1.1 Rights: You will not access our APIs in violation of any applicable laws or regulations including without limitation sharing a user’s personally identifiable information and privacy.
1.2 Access and Monitoring: You agree that BodyID may monitor, log, audit, or ensure compliance of our API and terms. Use of our API may involve requesting a token from one of our API servers.
2.0 Ownership: BodyID is the sole owner of the users data and content such as height, weight, gender, and body measurements. You, the specified third party, agrees to use this service on an API credit basis. Each instance where a user shares new data with a specified third party will be applied as a single API credit.
Content Shared to Specified Third Parties
The purpose of the API is to provide a bridge between user’s personal data and specified third parties. The only user data or content shared To specified third parties between the BodyID API or email communication will be that of user tokens, heights, weights, genders, and body measurements.
By using our services you, the user or the specified third party, agree to not modify, publish, or reverse engineer the services provided by BodyID. The content provided by BodyID is not for resale. You may not use the trademarks owned by BodyID.
Additional Specified Third Party Prohibitions
3.0 Sublicense: Specified third parties may not sublicense out access to the API or share users data with additional third parties.
3.1 Interference: Specified third parties may not attempt to interfere with the API access or tamper with the normal functioning processes.
3.2 Harmful Usage: Specified third parties may not attempt to access to the API in a manner that compromises or tests the vulnerability of any of our security measures.
3.3 API Limit Abuse: Specified third parties may not attempt to circumvent the number of times the API has been accessed.
Termination of Services
BodyID reserves the right to terminate any user or specified third party for any reason at any time, without notice.
Specified third parties may terminate our Terms for any reason on 5 working days notice.
BodyID is controlled and operated within the USA. If this service is accessed outside of the USA you are responsible for following your local laws. You agree that you will not access the services provided by BodyID that are restricted in your local areas.
Relationship of Specified Third Parties
It is mutually agreed upon that you and BodyID are operating on the basis of independent contractors and have not formed a joint venture, partnership, or agency.
Should one or more of the provisions in these terms become voided or unenforceable the remaining provisions shall not cease to be effective.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. You will be notified of any updates via email, and the changes will go into effect 7 days after email notification. Your continued use of our services is deemed an acceptance of these changes. If you do not agree with any changes to the Terms and Conditions, you must cease use with our services.
